DESCRIPTION:6G-NTN project coordinator\, Alessandro Vanelli-Coralli\, Professor of Telecommunications at the University of Bologna\, will participate at Plenary Panel 3 – Non-Terrestrial Networks: Systems and Services from 5G to 6G during the 28th Ka and Broadband Communications Conference (Ka) and the 40th International Communications Satellite Systems Conference (ICSSC).  \nAbout the Event \nThe 28th Ka and Broadband Communications Conference (Ka) and the 40th International Communications Satellite Systems Conference (ICSSC) and its Colloquium\, the two most influential technical conferences on satellite systems\, will be jointly held in Bradford (UK)\, from October 23 through October 26\, 2023. \nThe 40th ICSSC Colloquium on Direct Satellite to Cellular Mobile Services\, will be held on the 23rd of October 2023. The topic of Satellite-to-Cell\, or Direct-to-Mobile Service has been a rapidly evolving ecosystem and is a timely next step building upon on last year’s colloquium topic on Megaconstellations. DESCRIPTION:The 10th International Symposium on Networks\, Computers and Communications (ISNCC’23) will be held at Doha\, the FIFA World Cup 2022 City– Qatar\, from October 23 to 26\, 2023.  \nThe conference is hosted by the prestigious College of Science & Engineering – Hamad Bin Khalifa University\, Qatar \nISNCC 2023 is technically co-sponsored by IEEE\, IEEE Communications Society and supported by its Special Interest Group on Emerging Topics in Communications and Networking (ETCN).  \nIt covers theoretical and practical aspects related to Information Systems\, Communication Networks and Computing Technologies. This year\, the multi-thematic program  focuses on the major future scientific issues for the following scientific topics (details in “Call For Papers“): \n\n\n6G Vision and Potential Key Technologies \n\n\nInternet of Everything and Smart Cities \n\n\nNext Generation Networking and Internet \n\n\nTrust\, Security and Privacy \n\n\nArtificial Intelligence and Machine Learning \n\n\nData Science and Big Data Systems Engineering \n\n\nCloud\, Computing\, Networking and Storage \n\n\nWireless and Mobile Networks \n\n\nGreen Communication Systems and Networks \n\n\nSatellite Communications and Space Internet \n\n\nDeep Space Exploration and Long-Distance Communication \n\n\nAntenna Systems\, Propagation and RF Design \n\n\nSignal Processing and Communication System Theory \n\n\nIndustry 4.0 and the Factory of the Future \n\n\nMetaverse and the Future of Internet \n\n\nA separated Track called “PhD Students’ Forum” provides an opportunity for research students to showcase their original yet incomplete ‘work-in-progress’ (more details in “PhD Students’ Forum”). \nAlso an “Industrial Forum” is foreseen to give particular visibility and emphasis of applied research and on industrial developments. For this track to prepare full paper is not mandatory but the same slot for presentation at the conference will be guaranteed. The submission procedure through EDAS is the same of the scientific track but just an abstract could be accepted (more details in “Industrial Forum“). \nThe ISNCC 2023 edition will propose a set of technical presentations made ​​by internationally recognized researchers and experts. Young researchers participating in this event will then have the opportunity to present their work and obtain feedback during dedicated sessions intended to further facilitate interactions and the exchange of ideas. \nThe target audience of ISNCC ranges from Senior researchers to Ph.D. and Master students.
