SUMMARY:Fourth Visions for Future Communications Summit
DESCRIPTION:Vision of Future Communications Summit is a top-quality research workshop\, with the support of IEEE\, oriented to identify key research areas in information and communication technologies in the mid-future of 7 to 10 years. It will follow from the previous event held in 2017\, 2019\, and 2021\, considering that by 2030 6G will be reaching the market. Given the expected innovation cycle times\, it is now appropriate that we start discussions on Innovations after 6G. \nThe Summit will cover multiple research lines\, roughly structured along Physical Layer\, Network and Control Plane\, and Applications and Services. Each research line will have a keynote speaker\, and a set of sessions. All sessions will be organized as panels of distinguished speakers from academia\, industry and High-level European Commission officials presenting their viewpoints on a subarea within each track. DESCRIPTION:The 2023 IEEE Future Networks World Forum (FNWF’23) will continue the path set in 2018 by the IEEE 5G World Forum in bringing together experts from industry\, academia\, and research to exchange their vision as well as their achieved advances in the continuing evolution of network technology\, including 5G\, 6G\, and other innovative cross-domain breakthroughs. \nLocated in Baltimore\, USA\, IEEE FNWF’23 seeks contributions on how to nurture and cultivate future network technologies and applications for the benefit of society.  These systems should unveil a novel network architecture that not only improves physical data rate\, but also creates a new ecosystem allowing new services and applications deployment. A key target is to build a novel network architecture that should support not only classical mobile broadband applications and services but also vertical industry (e.g.\, Intelligent Transport\, Industrial IoT\, and eHealth) and other future networks-based services. \nRead more about the event \n

SUMMARY:Eureka Info Day 2023
DESCRIPTION:On 14 November 2023\, from 9am to 5:30pm\, Luxinnovation will organise a dedicated information day on Eureka\, the world’s biggest public network for international cooperation in R&D and innovation. The Info Day will offer participants the chance to learn about the various programmes and initiatives that are coordinated by Eureka\, such as Eurostars and other specific cluster calls. Furthermore\, participants will have the opportunity to learn about success stories\, participate in engaging panel discussions\, meet directly with representatives from public agencies involved in the network\, and discuss topics of interest with companies from member states. \n6G-NTN partner Konstantinos Liolis\, Senior Manager at SES Satellites\, will take part in the panel discussion “What is the added value of international collaboration for space projects?” and present the 6G-NTN case study of international collaboration in the Horizon Europe and SNS ecosystem. \nMore details are available on the event website.
